St. Charles, Il. – The Sidwell Company, a St. Charles, Illinois-based provider of geographic information systems (GIS) solutions, aerial photography, and related mapping services, is pleased to announce the scheduling of ESRI’s ArcGIS I training on December 12-13, 2006, in Mason City, Iowa.
This two-day course, which will be held at Northern Iowa Community College, is intended for those new to the world of GIS and ArcGIS in particular. ArcGIS is ESRI’s full-featured GIS software for visualization, creation, management, and analysis of geographic data. This course provides the foundation for those who wish to become a proficient user of ArcGIS. Fundamental GIS concepts are covered, and students become familiar with the wide range of functionality available in ArcGIS. Exercises focus on work with ArcGIS Desktop and its position as a complete GIS software solution.
