St. Charles, IL - The Sidwell Company will provide to the City of Olympia, Washington, their industry-acclaimed Parcel Builder Version 3 MapPlotter™ software to facilitate on-site cadastral map publication within city departments. MapPlotter, one of four modules comprising the Parcel Builder map productivity software suite, provides an efficient tool for creating consistent sets of printed “plat book” style maps by allowing dynamic map print preparation within ESRI’s ArcMap®. GIS Business Manager for the City, David Kuhn, says of the software module, “The moment I saw the capabilities of MapPlotter I realized this was the only tool that would support and streamline the development of all of our Map Books; from our Fire Department to our Water Utility crews. MapPlotter versatility enables us to keep our Map Books almost as current as a live mapping application because we can simply edit a single page without having to replace or reprint the entire field book.”
