The Project – Art in Public Spaces Story Map
Sidwell was selected by The Arts Commission to design a dataset for maintaining and sharing public art locations around the city of Toledo.
As part of this project, Sidwell developed a secure dataset that allows The Arts Commission to edit and update art through a free account on ArcGIS Online and Collector. A selection of the data was used to create a customized Story Map web application to share with the public. This application has a rich interactive user experience with the ability to share several media types, such as images and YouTube videos.
Tasks for this project included:
- Geodabatase design
- Creating web services that are both secure and publicly available
- Story Map Tour configuration and deployment
- Training for map making, editing, and attaching media
