St. Charles IL, Feb 2017-Sidwell, a leading GIS land records management company, has been chosen by the Harris County Appraisal District (HCAD) in Houston, Texas, to implement a parcel fabric data migration project. With 1.79 million parcels, HCAD is the third-largest local government jurisdiction in the U.S. Sidwell’s nearly ten years of experience with the parcel fabric uniquely qualifies us for a data conversion and modernization project of this magnitude.
We’ll assist HCAD in cleaning up and migrating their current cadastral data into the Esri parcel fabric data model. This project will include significant enhancements to HCAD’s parcel data and maintenance workflows by establishing data integrity requirements and streamlining features. Sidwell is also partnering with Esri to provide training services to HCAD staff on data maintenance and new, more efficient workflows.
