Sidwell announces Tony Pellettiere as our new Director of Business Development. Tony will be in charge of managing all of Sidwell’s sales and marketing efforts. He has demonstrated a high level of knowledge of our industry and the marketplace and a real vision for our future. In his previous role as Western Regional Account Manager, Tony established the Sidwell brand in the western United States by developing and implementing an innovative sales and marketing strategy.
Van O’Brien is promoted to the position of Director of Project Management. He demonstrates a serious approach to the marketplace and a deep understanding of our products and services. As Manager of GIS Implementations, he rose to the challenge of this very technical and demanding position, taking on our most difficult projects and assignments. Van continues to manage all project management and implementation activities.
Please join us in welcoming Jeremy Smith as a new GIS Account Manager. Jeremy will assist with business development opportunities in the region, and will initially focus on the states of MT, WY, CO and NM. Jeremy will also be working with Tony Pellettiere developing strategies in the national marketplace that will continue to grow Sidwell. Jeremy has a terrific grasp on the geospatial marketplace and his background includes working for the State of New Mexico, Esri and Energov. He has earned a reputation for accomplishment and innovation.
Sidwell is excited to announce Arron Lee as the new GIS Account Manager for the Chicagoland / Northern Illinois territory. Arron will be responsible Faces of Sidwell for sales into the counties and municipalities within this region. Arron will bring fresh ideas and a new approach to this territory that we are confident will create new opportunities for Sidwell. Arron will continue his duties as Manager of Photogrammetry while working with Tony Pellettiere to develop a sales strategy for his new territory.
Brian Baker has accepted the position of Photogrammetric Sales Manager. Brian will work alongside Tony Pellettiere to develop a strategy for expanding our photogrammetric sales efforts. Brian will continue to perform his current responsibilities with GIS sales in his territory, and will also be responsible for managing and developing new relationships with photogrammetry leadership and staff, while increasing Sidwell’s offerings and markets within the photogrammetric space. He will also support the GIS Account Managers by continually educating them and helping them to identify and close photogrammetric opportunities within their territories.
Tom Krohn has accepted a position as Project Manager. Tom’s addition to the Project Management team and willingness to travel for Sidwell will allow us to increase technical resources in a critical area.
Sidwell congratulates Joyce West on her recent appointment to the IGIC Board of Directors, representing the Commercial GIS Provider sector. IGIC is a nonprofit membership organization of GIS users, professionals and educators. IGIC is the official statewide coordinating body for Indiana geographic information.
