Over the years, Sidwell has made it a priority to provide guidance to our customers to ensure that their GIS data is optimized for the most current Esri software releases, and that their workflows are efficient, effective and follow industry standards and best-practices. Consistent with this effort, we have worked hard to ensure that our solutions are adapted to function properly with every Esri software release. Well ahead of each release, our developers are hard at work on our solutions so that once the release is official, we are prepared to modernize your data as needed and upgrade your solutions seamlessly. Sidwell has maintained a very strong relationship with Esri over the years, which ensures that our products, services, and customers are kept current with the future direction of their platform.
The next major evolution on the horizon is ArcGIS Pro, which is Esri’s new desktop application for analyzing, managing, and publishing GIS data. We are currently utilizing ArcGIS Pro for some of our internal web publishing needs, and look forward to offering ArcGIS Pro related services to our customers, including training and configuration of this powerful application. Furthermore, we will be working collaboratively with Esri in the coming months to ensure that ArcGIS Pro is optimized for land records and the Parcel Fabric, and will keep you informed so that when you are ready to move to ArcGIS Pro, we are prepared to assist you in that process.
