Sidwell Awarded Parcel Fabric Migration Project
The Sidwell Company is excited to have been selected for the parcel fabric migration project with Peoria County, IL. This project includes the migration of nearly 90,000 parcels into Esri’s parcel fabric data model. This is an important step for the County in the continuous modernization of their land records workflows and represents a continued partnership between the County and Sidwell. The County will also be utilizing Sidwell’s Parcel Administrator and Map Plotter applications to further enhance the workflows for managing the land records processes.
Josh Thompson, GISP is the GIS Manager for Peoria County IT Services-GIS Division and oversees the GIS data shared throughout the County. Thompson expressed enthusiasm about the project and explained that the parcel modernization project will aid the GIS team by allowing them to have a more efficient workflow and provide improved tools to maintain the County’s applications and data.
Sidwell has provided services to the County for over a decade.
“We are very excited to have been selected by the County as this project represents exactly the direction where we are encouraging our customers to move with the technology. This project will enable the County to better streamline and manage their GIS information for years to come,” said Tony Pellettiere, Sidwell VP of Business Development.
