Lake County, IN. The scope of this project was immense. We provided GIS and data creation/collection services to eleven departments over the course of eight years. The end result was the client deploying and using a true ESRI-based enterprise GIS. It is used daily by numerous staff as well as the public.
What do you like to do when you aren’t working? (hobbies?)
Drag racing, military history, and sports.
What’s your favorite thing about GIS?
The ability to visualize data in meaningful ways to solve real works issues.
If you had different plans in mind as you were growing up, what were they?
What do you enjoy most about your job and/or working at Sidwell?
The people, both Sidwell staff and our clients. We have an amazing group of talented people here and our clients are wonderful. We don’t exist without them. I get a lot of satisfaction in helping our clients succeed with their GIS projects.
What’s your secret talent that no one knows about?
I’m pretty good at ping pong.
If you were a crayon, what color would you be?
