Tom Krohn
When did you begin working at Sidwell, and what other roles have you had besides Project Manager?
- Dick Kennedy: January, 1992. Also worked as a Compiler/Checker in Mapping Services and as a Client Training Specialist.
- Tom Krohn: February 2003. I started as a GIS Compiler and Land Records Specialist. I moved to our GPS and Survey Solutions Department in 2010 as an Account Manager, and have since moved into Project Management.
What is your favorite part of being a Project Manager?
- Dick: Meeting our clients is fun, working with all departments within Sidwell is an added bonus.
- Tom: The interaction with our clients. It is always rewarding to be a part of helping our clients achieve the goals of a project, better understand their GIS, and to add efficiencies to their workflows.
When you’re not at Sidwell what are you most likely doing?
- Dick: Bicycling, painting, or hanging with my daughter/grandkids
- Tom: When not at Sidwell, I most certainly have the attention of my children. When they are tucked into bed, I am likely playing my guitar or enjoying some form of music.
What’s your favorite movie?
- Dick: Any Humphrey Bogart movie.
- Tom: No Country for Old Men
What would I find in your refrigerator right now?
- Tom: Milk! Gallons of milk…which will last about two days in our house.
